Imperial Trading was established in 1916 as a wholesale grocer for independent retail grocers in New Orleans. Entertainment and Amusement - AMA Distributors

AMA Distributors started as a modest jukebox leasing business in 1945 with two machines and is now one of the largest amusement and family entertainment companies in Louisiana. Through acquisitions and strong management, AMA has grown into a premiere gaming company. AMA was acquired by Georges Enterprises in 2000.

AMA Distributors focuses on all aspects of family entertainment, including jukeboxes, pool tables and video games. AMA is the only Brunswick Pavilion dealer in Louisiana, representing top manufactures such as Olhausen, Rowe, Merit, Namco, Stern Pinball, California House, Global Vr, Coastal, Incredible Technologies, Cuetec, ICE, Simonis, Mali, Meucci and many other fine companies.

In 2007, AMA opened a brand new state of the art showroom, lab, shop and office facility in Metairie, LA after being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Georges Enterprises holds minority interests in companies with successful management systems already in place. We are investors in a Louisiana-based industrial supply company and have a financial interest in 25 acres of industrial real estate in the greater New Orleans area that has been used for film production and related businesses. Georges Enterprises was also the part-owner of the former New Orleans Brass, a minor-league hockey team.
