Georges Enterprises began as Imperial Trading in 1916. The original Imperial Trading was a family business founded by Gus Pelias, grandfather of current Georges Enterprises CEO John Georges. Georges Enterprises specializes in acquiring established businesses and business startups and turning them into profit makers. This is done by taking a progressive approach and giving a fresh perspective to traditional industries. We are leaders in every segment of business that we manage.
Georges Enterprises is a Louisiana-based company with world-wide investments consisting of a diverse group of holdings. Some of our current companies include food distribution, food service, oil and gas services, maritime, family entertainment, film studios, real estate development, construction, and raw materials management.
In March 2008, Georges Enterprises was identified as the third largest privately held company in New Orleans by City Business.
